Cancún International Airport, your gateway to the island lifestyle is a four terminal airport, situated just a short drive from the island’s hotel zone. As Mexico’s biggest airport for international passengers, one of the terminals is used exclusively for charter flights and private aviation.

Cancún International Terminal 2 is home to two duty-free stores which sell a range of quality accessories, cosmetics, tobacco, wine and liquor. Luxury goods like perfumes and fashion are also on offer in a perfumery and various boutiques. For any medical needs there is a pharmacy in the terminal as well.

The hungry will be pleased to have a selection of burgers, pizzas, grill dishes and more in the eateries and shops in this terminal. For those who enjoy a good coffee or something a little stronger, there is a coffee shop and a tequileria.

The airport is well-equipped with ATMs, currency exchange, lockers, accessible restrooms and step-free access for those who may need it.

About Our Lounge At Cancún International Terminal 2 

The Lounge By Global Lounge Network is a spacious breakaway space offering a wide variety of seating options - from dining areas to comfortable couches and even loungers for those wanting to rest and recline! Open 24 hours, the lounge also serves refreshments, eats and alcoholic beverages. Flight information screens allow you to keep an eye on your departure details. A dress code is applicable to enter the lounge and cardholders are allowed to bring in one child under 12 years old at no charge.

Location And Accessibility

The Lounge By Global Lounge Network is found airside after you have passed through security control. Turn left once leaving security, take the escalator to the 2nd floor. Once you have passed the duty free shop, you will see the lounge on your left. The lounge is accessible to all our guests.

Terminal tips

The weather at Cancún Airport can often be on the hot and humid side, so we suggest wearing comfortable and light clothing with layers that you can remove on arrival. A travel-sized sunscreen is also not a bad idea if you're arriving during the day.

Taxis, buses, car rental and some hotel airport shuttles are available to take you to your destination.
There are no in-airport hotels.

Definitely have Mexican Pesos on you, for those outlets that might not accept USD, credit or debit cards.
On arrival you will be required to fill in a tourist card.
The airport still uses the luggage search traffic signal system, but plans are underway to replace this system with scanners.
