Terminal 1 (Sheikh Rashid Terminal)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Terminal Information

Sandwiches, snacks, tea and coffee are all available before Check-in. After Security, the terminal's food courts serve Arabic to Spanish cuisine and everything in between, with plenty of family-friendly options. Concourse D has even more on offer, with sushi, organic, Lebanese, Mexican and Indian dining among the options. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll want to make a beeline for Butler’s Chocolate Café, where you can also buy gift-wrapped souvenirs. Casual dining is on the menu at The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck and the Noodle House serves wok-fried specials, crispy duck and good vegetarian options. Families are always catered for at Giraffe and you can relax at the caviar house or sports bar if you're looking for a social drink before boarding.

Terminal 1's colorful mall area is built around an iconic golden palm tree, with an encircling jewelry counter. There's no better place to pick up a new watch, with at least 7 specialist and designer timepiece stores. Electronics and technology are also very well represented, and don't forget some traditional Arabic coffee and sweets, which make excellent gifts. Concourse D (2 minutes by dedicated train) has as many as 175 retail outlets, so make sure you leave enough time for shopping.
