Whether you're in the mood for Italian, Japanese, American or just a sandwich, all tastes are catered for among 17 eating options, most of which are after Security. Armadillo Cafe and Grill offers good vegetarian options and, for those travelling with kids, Shake-a-Hula has hot dogs and milkshakes, along with fresh fruit. If you're a fan of the sloe berry, The Nicholas Culpeper has the distinction of being the world's first airport gin distillery and offers an all-day dining menu of British classics; it's found before Security.

British high street names such as Accessorize, Fat Face and Dune have dedicated stores here, alongside branches of famous retail giants Harrods and Hamleys. Dixons Travel that cater to your electronics needs. There are plenty of international brands too, and one high-end minimart before Security.

Terminal tips

The world's longest and highest air passenger bridge, Pier 6 Bridge, is located in the North Terminal.

The bridge spans the runway allowing aircrafts to pass underneath, providing an excellent viewing place for plane enthusiasts.

There are no flight calls at London Gatwick, so remember to keep an eye on the flight information screens.

Got carried away with airport shopping?

Gatwick offers a Collect on Return service if you are travelling within the UK or EU. Just tell any store assistant, and your purchases will be kept securely until your return. Regardless of which terminal you fly from, they'll be waiting for you at the Excess Baggage desk at your arrival terminal.
