Parking

There are parking lots next to each terminal. There's also budget parking for domestic travelers only - this is a 15-minute shuttle bus ride from T2 and T3. An express pick-up zone is located 5 minutes' walk from T1 and is free for 15 minutes; there's a paid waiting area closer to the terminal.

Transit and in-airport hotels

The international terminal (T1) is connected to the domestic terminals (T2 and T3) by a train that costs around AUD$6 per person and takes around 2 minutes. Terminals 2 and 3 are within walking distance of each other. Passengers transferring between Qantas or Virgin domestic and international flights can travel between the terminals by courtesy bus, but be aware this could take up to 30 minutes.

There are no hotels within the terminal buildings. However, Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel is a 2-minute walk from T1, and has a rooftop bar overlooking the runways. From T2 it's a 10-minute, signposted walk to the Mantra Hotel. For something a little different, the Felix Hotel has a retro-chic 1960s theme.
