Sydney Kingsford Smith
Kingsford Smith Airport is 8km south of downtown Sydney.
Taxi - taxi ranks are outside each terminal. Curbside Supervisors are on hand to help you find the right taxi.
Bus - buses to Bondi Junction and Burwood stop on the Arrivals level of Terminals 1 and 3.
Trains - Airport Link trains run to Sydney every 10 minutes, stopping at both the International Terminal and the Domestic Terminal train stations (accessible from T2 and T3).
Car rental - car rentals are available from the Arrivals halls.
Limousine - limousines can only pick up travelers at the airport if they've been pre-arranged.
The international terminal (T1) is connected to the domestic terminals (T2 and T3) by a train that costs around AUD$6 per person and takes around 2 minutes. Terminals 2 and 3 are within walking distance of each other. Passengers transferring between Qantas or Virgin domestic and international flights can travel between the terminals by courtesy bus, but be aware this could take up to 30 minutes.
There are no hotels within the terminal buildings. However, Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel is a 2-minute walk from T1, and has a rooftop bar overlooking the runways. From T2 it's a 10-minute, signposted walk to the Mantra Hotel. For something a little different, the Felix Hotel has a retro-chic 1960s theme.
