About Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport


Named after the former prime minister and Nobel laureate, Lester B. Pearson, the prestigious Toronto Pearson International Airport serves as the main aviation hub for Toronto and the entire Golden Horseshoe environs.

The airport, which is Canada’s largest and busiest, boasts five runways and two terminals (Terminal 1 and Terminal 3). Spanning over 1,867 hectares, Toronto Pearson International Airport accommodated over 44.3 million passengers as of 2022. At Terminal 1 (T1), the D Gates are used for national flights, the E Gates are for those flying internationally, and the F Gates are for US-bound flights only.

Also serving as the principal hub for Air Canada and a key centre for other carriers like WestJet and FedEx Express, the airport offers extensive domestic and international connections, with over 1,250 daily departures to 180 destinations across five continents.

We operate multiple lounges in both the Domestic and International Terminals in Atlanta International Airport for you to enjoy.

At Priority Pass, we proudly provide lounge services at both Terminal T1 and T3 of the Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Our membership plan makes available a warm and conducive atmosphere in these spaces.

Terminal 1 (T1): Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic Departures) Terminal 1
Our Plaza Premium Lounge for Domestic Departures at Terminal 1 offers a wide range of amenities and dining options tailored for passengers travelling to and from the different provinces of Canada. Departing travellers are treated to a premium experience with complimentary access, allowing for a maximum stay of two (2) hours. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

In addition to the provision of a comfortable space and dining refreshments, our Plaza Premium (Domestic Departures) Lounge offers premium alcoholic drinks and top-quality shower facilities to refresh yourself. Please note that these additional services are subject to payment.

The lounge is open between 05:30 - 22:00 daily, and can be found in T1 Domestic Departures, Level 3. Turn right after Security Gate D20. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on US transborder or international flights.

Terminal 1: Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departures)
Experience premium comfort and convenience at the Plaza Premium Lounge for International Departures, offering a variety of amenities tailored to enhance your journey as you prepare for your international flight. Open between 05:30 - 22:00 daily, the lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or US transborder flights.

Our Plaza Premium (International Departures) Lounge offers a selection of food and refreshments, along with newspapers and magazines to help pass the time. Children under 2 years are admitted free. The lounge can be found in T1 International Departures, opposite Gate E77 on Level 3.

Terminal 1: Plaza Premium Lounge (US Transborder) Terminal 1
Passengers departing on US Transborder flights can take full advantage of our Plaza Premium Lounge (US Transborder), offering a variety of amenities tailored to enhance your journey as you get ready for your flight to the United States.

At our Plaza Premium Lounge (US Transponder) at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1, departing travellers are treated to a premium experience with complimentary access, allowing for a maximum stay of two hours. Open daily between 05:30 - 21:00, you can find the lounge by going between Gates F33 and F55. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or international flights.

Terminal 3: KLM Crown Lounge
At the newly renovated KLM Crown Lounge in Toronto Pearson Terminal 3, travellers are treated to a premium experience. The lounge, designed to enhance comfort and convenience, offers a range of amenities tailored to meet your needs.

While awaiting your international flight, enjoy comfortable seating and picturesque airport views. Plane spotters will be delighted by the views of planes as they take off and land. Guests can enjoy a self-service buffet, featuring a variety of hot and cold food options. The lounge is open daily between 09:00 - 22:30, and children under the age of 2 are admitted free of charge.

Located airside within the International Security Checkpoint, the Pearson Terminal 3 lounge is easily accessible. It is positioned just above Gate C33 and beyond the Duty-Free shops. The lounge is not accessible for passengers departing on US transborder flights.

Terminal 3: Plaza Premium Lounges (Domestic Departures)
Our Plaza Premium Lounge for Domestic Departures at Terminal 3 is open daily between 05:30 - 22:00. Passengers travelling domestically within Canada can enjoy a selection of refreshments. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

The lounge can be found in T3 Canadian Domestic Departures. Turn right after passing Gate B23. The lounge is located on the left hand side between Gates B22 and B24. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on US transborder or international flights.

Terminal 3: Plaza Premium Lounges (USA Departures)
Our Plaza Premium Lounge for USA Departures at Terminal 3 is open daily between 05:30 - 19:00. Passengers travelling to the USA can enjoy a selection of refreshments. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

The lounge can be found in T3 USA Departures. Take the lift to the T Level where the lounge is located. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or international flights.

Terminal 3: Plaza Premium Lounges (International Departures)
Our Plaza Premium Lounge for International Departures at Terminal 3 is open daily between 05:30 - 01:00. Passengers travelling to the USA can enjoy a selection of refreshments. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge.

The lounge can be found in T3 International Departures. After Security Checks, take the lift in C32 to the AT Level or Arrival Transfer Level. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or US transborder flights.

Accessibility

Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport is conveniently located 14 miles (23 kilometres) from downtown Toronto, offering multiple transportation options for easy access.

By car
From downtown Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway westbound and merge onto Highway 427 north. Follow the signs for Pearson Airport, and take the Airport Road exit. Continue following signs for the appropriate terminal, either Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Ample signage will guide you to the passenger drop-off areas, parking garages, and rental car returns. Ensure you leave plenty of time for potential traffic, especially during peak hours.

Taxi
Licensed taxis are readily available at Terminal 1 (Doors C & D), Terminal 3 Domestic Arrivals (Door B), and Terminal 3 International Arrivals (Door F). However, you are strongly advised to avoid accepting rides from unsolicited offers within both terminals.

Bus
The airport is well served by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and various local bus routes. Stops for these buses are located at Terminal 1 (Ground Level, 2nd curb) and Terminal 3 (Arrivals, 3rd curb). They provide connections to North York, Bramalea, and Mississauga.

Train
The Union Pearson Express provides a fast link between the airport and Union Station in downtown Toronto. These trains depart every 15 minutes from 05:30 to 01:00 and take 25 minutes to complete the journey.

Hotel shuttle
Free shuttle buses operate every 30 minutes to nearby hotels, including Hampton Inn & Suites and Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport. These shuttles depart from Ground Level - Door S at Terminal 1 and Doors A & G at Terminal 3.

Car rental
Car rental desks are located on Level 1 of the parking garages adjacent to Terminals 1 and 3.

Parking
Toronto Pearson International Airport offers a wide range of parking facilities, including the option to book Car Care appointments and access to 10 electric vehicle charging stations. Discounts are available when online reservations are made. If you need valet car parking, you can get that at Terminal 3.

Travelling between terminals
The 24-hour Terminal Link train shuttles travellers between Terminals 1 and 3, the Value Park Lot, and the Value Park Garage, with departures every 4-8 minutes, ensuring quick and efficient transfers.

The Sheraton Gateway Hotel, connected to Terminal 3 by a walkway, provides convenient accommodations with facilities including a gym, pool, and sauna.
