Russia, 20th June 2019 – Members of Priority Pass™, the original and market-leading airport experiences program operated by Collinson, have access once again to five lounges in Russia, following a renewed partnership with three key airports of Southern Russia: Krasnodar, Sochi and Vityazevo (Anapa) International airports. This takes the total footprint of lounges in Russia back up to 95.
Three of the top 30 airports in Russia, these destinations have experienced immense growth in the number of flights touching down and passengers travelling through their doors. Between January and May 2019, they received a combined footfall of over 6.1 million travellers.
The partnership supports this influx, by giving Priority Pass Members as well as the other programs Collinson operates, LoungeKey and Diners Club, renewed access to five lounges within the three airports, following temporary closure:
- International Business Lounge, Sochi International Airport (International flights only, 24 hours)
- Business Lounge, Sochi International Airport (Domestic flights only, 24 hours)
- Comfort Lounge, Krasnodar International Airport (Domestic flights only, 24 hours)
- International Business Lounge, Krasnodar International Airport (International flights only, 24 hours)
- Business Lounge, Vityazevo Airport, Anapa (Domestic flights only, open 24 hours)
Priority Pass’ global coverage now sits at 1,291 lounges and airport experiences, including the 95 in Russia, reaffirming it as the largest independent lounge access program across the globe.
Andy Besant, Director of Travel Experiences at Collinson, the operator of Priority Pass, said: “With airports preparing for peak travel season in Southern Russia, it’s perfect timing to reintroduce these lounges to our portfolio and give our Members comfortable spaces to relax while they’re traveling in the country and internationally. It also underpins our commitment to growing our global footprint so that we continue to provide travellers with a great experience at the airport no matter their location or class of ticket.”
Andrey Scherbakha, Director of Non-Aero at Basel Aero, said: “On behalf of Sochi, Krasnodar and Anapa Airports, we are pleased to announce the renewed cooperation with Collinson. Every year the airports of our group serve more than 200,000 Priority Pass Members, and finally our company is happy to welcome again guests at our business lounges where they can enjoy a high level of comfort whilst departing on domestic and international flights, regardless of the airline and the class of service. The partnership with Collinson is highly appreciated and we are looking forward to a continuous and fruitful cooperation.”
Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Diners Club customers will be able to access the lounges with immediate effect.
