Priority Pass welcomes new Istanbul Airport lounge to its network

Priority Pass announces the addition of a new lounge to its network. Members now have access to the iGA lounge in Istanbul Airport – the city’s brand-new international hub, which opened in early April 2019 and plans to see 200 million passengers each year.

The world-class lounge sits in the international terminal and offers seating for 585 travelers. Designed with the modern passenger in mind, the iGA lounge boasts something to suit all needs, including dedicated relaxation spaces, free shower facilities, private cinema and TV areas, family zones for those traveling with children and a games room. Alongside these features, the lounge has a dedicated Duty Free store after its entry gates with exclusive access for lounge guests only.

Business travelers also have access to meeting rooms and conference amenities.

Open 24/7 and offering a three-hour maximum stay, the iGA lounge serves an array of spirits, beers and wine, along with non-alcoholic drinks and a hot and cold buffet. This means Members will be well-catered for, while taking in views of the runway and enjoying their pre-flight time in calm and comfortable surroundings.

The addition of the iGA lounge to the Priority Pass program takes its global total up to 1324, including 63 out of lounge experiences, reinforcing its position as the world’s largest airport lounge network.

Andy Besant, Director of Travel Experiences at Collinson, the operator of Priority Pass, said: “This is an exciting new partnership with a fantastic lounge in one of the world’s most impressive airports. Istanbul Airport is a brilliant hub for business travelers and tourists alike, with many passing through its doors on their way to explore Turkey or the countless destinations it connects to across the world.

“With state-of-the-art facilities and meticulous design, iGA lounge represents a haven for travelers of all kinds and offers them a spacious place to relax, refuel and make the most of their airport experience before boarding. We’re confident it’ll be a popular addition to the Priority Pass program.”
