Priority Pass 2024 Unwrapped

 

Reflecting on 2024, it's been a strong year of growth for Priority Pass – the world’s leading airport experiences programme – responding to increased demand for an elevated airport experience.

Since January, Priority Pass has:

  • Expanded its global network by 12%, introducing a further 201 airport lounges and travel experiences around the world. This includes:

  • - 105 in APAC

    - 28 in EMEA

    - 68 in The Americas

  • Seen a 31% increase in lounge and travel experience visits* from global travellers this year compared to 2023. Among the top-visited lounges, some of the standouts were the IGA Lounge in Istanbul Airport, the Al Maha Lounge in Doha Hamad International, and the Hanaq VIP Lounge in Lima Jorge Chavez International.

  • Seen 120 lounge visits happening every minute around the world** as more travellers are enjoying airport lounges and experiences than ever before.

  • Introduced Pre-book at over 140 lounges in 100+ airports in the UK, US, South America, Middle East and Japan, with further locations imminent.

  • Announced several new partnerships around the world, enhancing its travel ecosystem while continuing to offer members seamless, elevated journeys. Highlights include:

  • - APAC: strategic joint venture with Joyful Journey Group in mainland China brings multiple value-added benefits for clients and travellers, including market-specific agile technology, enhanced customer experience with 24/7 mandarin-speaking customer service, and an expanded inventory.

    - EMEA7 new exclusive EAT outlets across the UK network in partnership with SSP UK & Ireland brings the overall total to 25 UK outlets (all exclusive), with key hubs including Stansted, Heathrow, Manchester, Gatwick and London City airports.

    - The Americas10 additional Escape Lounges added across the U.S., while an XpresSpa collaboration brings wellness services directly to the journey. A partnership with Exodus Travels provides North American travellers who book guided trips with a complimentary one-year Priority Pass membership.

  • Revamped the global Priority Pass Excellence Awards which celebrate airport lounges, partners and employees that help to elevate every journey into something special. Two exciting new categories were added: All Star of the Year and Pioneer of the Year, highlighting the incredible work of partners in delivering seamless travel experiences to members around the globe.

  • Awarded the Vienna Lounge, Terminal 1, Vienna Airport, Austria, the coveted Lounge of the Year for 2024, based on member reviews and ratings.

  • Introduced more Travel Services, including:

  • - Destination Deals: top attractions, tours, and activities;

    - Meet & Assist Services: personalised services to facilitate travel requirements at 100 airports globally, including priority check-in and security, and Passport Control and Immigration;

    - On-Demand Workspaces with Upflex: access flexible workspaces worldwide, ideal for work on the go.
