About The Airport

Holidaymakers flock to the 'Turkish Riviera' through Antalya International Airport, which can get especially busy during the summer. It has 3 terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and a Domestic Terminal. Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal are at opposite ends of the same building.

DorukNet provides a paid Wi-Fi service at the airport, but you can access free Wi-Fi in some of the cafés in the Domestic Terminal. If you need to work or plan on watching films, make sure you download everything you'll need before arriving at the airport.

The airport is 13km from downtown Antalya.

Taxi - taxis wait outside the Arrivals exits of all terminals. Drivers have special airport ID cards and all fares have a fixed rate. If you choose to hire a private car to collect you from the airport, make sure you use a company that is approved by TURSAB (The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies).

Bus - buses runs from all 3 terminals to Antalya Otogar, a major transport hub where you can transfer to regional and long-distance services.

Hotel shuttle - hotels and tour operators often provide courtesy shuttles for their customers. International name hotels near the airport include the Intercontinental and the Holiday Inn.

Car rental - car rental desks are in the Arrivals hall. If you're planning on a relaxing trip, avoid driving in the old city and some parts of the city center, as traffic can be stressful.

There are 3 parking lots outside the terminals, with space for over 1,000 vehicles. The first 15 minutes of parking in the Domestic Terminal are free.

A walkway links Terminal 1 with the Domestic Terminal. For transfers to and from Terminal 2, take a bus (departures every 30 minutes) or a taxi. This journey takes roughly 5 minutes.

There's no hotel in the airport.

Healthy Travel Tip

Mosquitoes can be an issue in the summer months. To avoid being bitten, pack your bug spray and insect-repellent clothing if you're travelling during this time.
