Cancún International Terminal 3

Cancún International Airport, a 12km drive from downtown Cancún and 20km from the hotel zone, is Mexico’s biggest airport for international passengers. The airport has four terminals, one of which is used for charter flights and private aviation.

Cancún International Terminal 3 offers a variety of fast food and drink outlets - choose from pizzas, a noodle bar, a coffee shop and an ice-cream parlour, amongst others.

Besides the duty free shop, where you can buy wine, liquor, tobacco and cosmetics, there is also a pharmacy in the terminal.

The airport is well-equipped with ATMs, currency exchange, information points, accessible restrooms and step-free access for those who may need it.

If you’re looking to access an airport lounge in Terminal 3 at Cancun International, we have three different options of Priority Pass plans depending on your frequency of travel:

STANDARD: For the occasional Traveller - £69/€89/$99
£24/€30/$35 member and guest visit fee

About Our Lounge At Cancún International Terminal 3

The Lounge is a contemporary space, with various seating options, where you can enjoy some downtime and a meal before your flight. Available to international travellers only, the lounge has air conditioning, newspapers and magazines, flight information screens and complimentary luggage storage for your convenience. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To gain access, all cardholders and guests are required to show a boarding pass with confirmed same-day travel. One child, under 12 years of age, is admitted free for each cardholder and there is a play area available for children.

Location And Accessibility

The Lounge is located landside and can be accessed by entering the airport through the main door, turning right and walking to the end of the hallway.


There's a bar where you can grab a bite to eat and a drink.

There's a duty-free store in the Arrivals hall.

Terminal tips

The weather at Cancún Airport can often be on the hot and humid side, so we suggest wearing comfortable and light clothing with layers that you can remove on arrival. A travel-sized sunscreen is also not a bad idea if you're arriving during the day.

Taxis, buses, car rental and some hotel airport shuttles are available to take you to your destination.
There are no in-airport hotels.

Definitely have Mexican Pesos on you, for those outlets that might not accept USD, credit or debit cards.
On arrival you will be required to fill in a tourist card.
The airport still uses the luggage search traffic signal system, but plans are underway to replace this system with scanners.
