Our Lounges

We operate multiple lounges in all three terminals at Indira Gandhi International Airport for you to enjoy. Terminal 3 features several lounges catering to both domestic and international travellers.

Terminal 1D: The Encalm Lounge
The Encalm Lounge is open 24 hours daily. The lounge offers a luxurious environment where guests can relax, enjoy delicious food and drinks, watch television, connect to Wi-Fi, or read from a selection of newspapers and magazines. Alcoholic drinks are available, but subject to a charge. Passengers can enjoy the lounge facilities for up to 2 hours.

Terminal 2: The Plaza Premium Lounge
In Terminal 2, the Plaza Premium Lounge is situated airside near Gate 25 in Domestic Departures. Open 24 hours daily, this lounge welcomes all guests and admits children under two years old free of charge when accompanied by an adult. The lounge provides a comfortable space to enjoy a hot meal, watch television, utilise the Wi-Fi, or read from a selection of newspapers and magazines. Alcoholic beverages are available for a charge. A smart casual dress code is required. The lounge offers one takeaway food box per person, which cannot be consumed inside.

Terminal 3: Domestic Lounge
The Domestic Lounge in Domestic Departures is open 24 hours daily. It can be found airside by following the ‘Lounge A’ signs from Gates F and G and taking the escalator on the right. The lounge offers luxurious seating, hot meals, television, Wi-Fi access, and reading materials. Children under two years old are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. The lounge has a smart casual dress code.

Terminal 3: Encalm Lounge Landside
International travellers can enjoy 3 separate Encalm Lounges in Terminal 3. The first Encalm Lounge is situated landside, prior to the exit gates near the food court. Open 24 hours daily, guests are required to show a boarding pass with confirmed same-day travel in order to access the lounge. Children under the age of 2 are admitted for free.

The lounge features a variety of facilities, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refreshments and entertainment. Complimentary luggage storage is also available. Maximum stay of 2 hours.

Terminal 3: Encalm Lounge International Departures
The Encalm Lounge for international departures offers a comfortable environment where guests can relax, enjoy delicious food and drinks, watch television, connect to Wi-Fi, or read newspapers and magazines. Open 24 hours daily, the lounge has a maximum stay of 2 hours.

The Encalm Lounge for international passengers can be located in the Security Hold Area on the Food Court Level, next to the Encalm Spa. Facilities available for passengers include TV and refreshments. Alcoholic drinks are available but subject to a charge. Children under two years old are free of charge when accompanied by an adult and maintains a smart casual dress code.

Terminal 3: Encalm Lounge Domestic Departures
The Encalm Lounge for domestic departures is open 24 hours daily, and has a maximum stay of 2 hours. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge. The lounge is available for passengers travelling domestically, and can be found on the Food Court Level by the Security Hold Area.

Terminal 2 boasts a range of retail stores, including United Colors of Benetton for clothing, a luggage and accessories outlet, a multi-brand perfume stockist, and a newsstand/convenience store. Patanjali sells healthcare and cosmetic items made from organic fruits and vegetables, and at Great Foods of India, you can buy delicacies and specialty products from over 30 cities across the country.

There is a food court offering Gujarati street food, pan-Asian fast food, and pizza. Those who prefer healthier options can buy salads and fresh juices at Fresh & Healthy.

Terminal 2 is known for its efficient layout and ease of navigation, making it ideal for quick transits. It also features art installations and cultural exhibits that showcase Indian heritage, providing a unique cultural experience for travellers.

Terminal 3 is the most advanced terminal with a range of exclusive facilities. It includes a luxury spa, a nap and shower facility, and various lounges including the Encalm Lounge. Terminal 3 also features automated baggage handling systems and extensive duty-free shopping areas. Accessibility

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is located approximately 10 miles (16 kilometres) southwest of New Delhi city centre. The drive from the city centre typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The airport is well-connected by the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, and parking facilities are available on-site with options for short-term and long-term parking.

Metro
Indira Gandhi International Airport is well-connected to the city via the Delhi Metro. The Delhi Metro Airport Express Line, also known as the Orange Line, provides a direct link to the airport. The Airport Express Line runs from New Delhi Station to Dwarka Sector 21, with key stops including Shivaji Stadium and Dhaula Kuan. The journey from New Delhi Station to the airport's Terminal 3 takes approximately 20 minutes. This line is known for its speed, efficiency, and comfort, making it a popular choice for travellers.

Bus
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) operates several bus routes that connect different parts of the city to the airport.
