About The Airport

Also known as Sea-Tac, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is the main passenger airport serving Seattle. It has a Central Terminal and 2 satellite buildings (North and South).

Getting to and from the airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is 21km south of downtown Seattle.

Taxi - Taxi stands are on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. You can choose between standard and 8-10 passenger vehicles.

Bus - Sound Transit Express routes stop on the lower drive of the main terminal. Other buses stop on International Boulevard, the street next to the Sea-Tac Airport LINK Light Rail station.

Train - the LINK Light Rail system operates between the airport and the city. You'll find the station on the 4th floor of the airport parking garage. Trains run every 7-15 minutes.

Hotel shuttle  - many local hotels - such as the Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport, Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport and Radisson Hotel Seattle Airport - provide free shuttle buses for guests.

Car rental - you can take the free 24-hour shuttle service to the car rental offices from the north and south ends of the main terminal, after Baggage Claim.

Limousine - to order a limousine, use the touchscreen Travelers' Information Board in Baggage Claim or make your way to the Ground Transportation Booth on the 3rd floor of the parking garage.

Parking

The parking garage has spaces for both long- and short-term parking. There's a monthly parking programme for frequent travelers and coupons for daily rates. Skybridges link it with the terminal building.

Transit and in-airport hotels

Shuttle trains connect various parts of the airport. If your flight is from a C or N Gate, the North Train Loop will take you there from the Central Terminal. Flights from B and S Gates are accessed by the South Train Loop.
