About Seoul Incheon International Airport


Located on Yeongjong Island in the West of the city, Seoul Incheon International Airport is one of the most exciting in the world. While other airports focus on dining, refreshments and retail, South Korea’s busiest airport puts on a show for its travellers. The airport has a reputation for live performances. There are also movie theatres, museums and art installations strewn across the site – making Seoul Airport a hub for both luxurious travel and unique art.

Featuring world-class restaurants, airport lounges and retail options, Seoul Incheon has earned a series of awards and accolades over the years. Not only did it win the 2017 award for Best Transfer Airport, but it also recently scooped a series of gongs at the 2023 World Airport Aways, including the World’s Best Airport Staff Service and the World’s Best Airport Immigration Service.

Our Lounges

This Seoul airport guide begins with a brief overview of our luxurious, fully equipped airport lounges. Offering comfort, privacy, refreshments and connectivity, every Priority Pass lounge is set up to make your travel experiences relaxing and productive.

Terminal 1: Sky Hub Lounges
Modern, spacious and packed with comfortable seating options, the two Sky Hub Lounges in Seoul Airport’s Terminal 1 have everything you need to relax, work, play or socialise. Featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, an ever-changing menu, a fully stocked bar and various business amenities, both these lounges are perfect for some pre-flight wining and dining.

One Sky Hub Lounge is located in the East Wing of Terminal 1, just by Passport Control. This location is open between 7am and 10pm daily. The second Sky Hub Lounge – open 24 hours a day – is located near Gate 42 next to the transit counter in the East Wing, although it closes between 21:30 and 22:00 every day for cleaning.

Terminal 1: Matina Lounges
There are two Matina Lounges in Terminal 1, and both have everything you could ever need from an airport lounge. As well as high-speed internet access and business centre amenities, there’s a great selection of refreshments available throughout the day. There’s also a smoking area in both locations.

The first of our two Matina Lounges is located near Gate 43 on the 4th floor – just by Passport Control. This modern space is open between 7am and 10pm every day. The second Matina Lounge can be found just after Passport Control near Gate 11, in the west section of Terminal 1. Follow the signs for ‘Transit Hotel’ and you can’t miss it.

Terminal 1: Asiana Business Lounge
Modern and stylish in equal measure, the Asiana Business Lounge at Seoul Incheon Airport features a comprehensive range of amenities. Available to Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance passengers, it’s equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, shower facilities, and conference amenities. There’s also a good selection of refreshments, including freshly prepared snacks and alcoholic beverages.

You’ll find the stylish Asiana Business Lounge right next to Gate 11 in Terminal 1. The lounge is open to passengers every day between 5am and 10pm.

Terminal 2: Lounge L
Lounge L is a great place to sit back in style and watch the world go by. A perfect combination of relaxing areas and work-based areas, Lounge L offers a sumptuous selection of hot and cold dishes throughout the day. There’s also a great selection of alcoholic beverages, free newspapers, and conference facilities.

Lounge L is located right by Gate 231 on 4F in Terminal 2, and it’s open for business between the hours of 6am and 10pm daily.

Terminal 2: Matina Lounge
The star of the show at Matina Lounge is the buffet, which always features a great selection of Eastern and Western culinary creations. There’s also a fully stocked bar that’s packed with complimentary wines, beers and spirits. If you’re travelling with children under the age of three, they get free access to the lounge.

Situated just by Gate 252 on 4F of Terminal 2, Matina Lounge is open between the hours of 7am and 10pm – although the buffet closes at 9:30am.
You can find the spa at Atlanta GA International Airport, Concourse B, airside, near Gate B22 inside the Traveler's Oasis.

The largest airport in South Korea, Seoul Incheon International Airport is home to a huge range of facilities and amenities. If you need assistance or advice when you’re there, head to one of the airport’s information desks, which are located on the first and third floors, near the boarding gates and within the Airport Transportation Centre.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat inside Seoul Airport, you’re spoilt for choice. As well as a series of Korean and Pan-Asian restaurants, both terminals are home to Western branded restaurants such as Burger King, strEAT, Taco Bell, KFC, Shake Shack and Krispy Kreme. There’s even a traditional Fish and Chips restaurant called Foodies’ Beer & Chips, which is located in Terminal 2 near Gate 252.

If you’re looking for some retail therapy during your time at Seoul Airport, there are plenty of options to choose from in both terminals. For sunglasses, take a look at the offerings at ALO. You’ll find books at K-Books and Book Cafe – which hosts a Starbucks coffee shop. For some last-minute souvenirs, grab a unique gift at Jane Art, which is home to artworks, fashion accessories and toys.

There are several currency exchanges littered throughout the airport, including a Hana Bank in both Terminal 1 and the main departure hall of Terminal 2. <

Accessibility

Seoul Incheon International Airport enjoys a range of excellent communication links. So whether you’re visiting Seoul as a holidaymaker or leaving South Korea after a business meeting, getting to and from the airport is easy.

By bus
The Incheon Bus route starts at Terminal 2 before heading to Terminal 1. It then heads to Seoul Station via Unseo, Youngjong, Geomam, Digital Media City and Hongdae. A journey from the airport into central Seoul will usually take around an hour.

Taxis
There are taxi stands and Uber drop-off zones at the front of both terminals.

Trains
There are Transit Centers in both Terminals that allow you to take the Airport Railroad into central Seoul.

By car
There are two excellent road links to the airport: The Incheon International Airport Expressway and the Incheon Bridge. Please note that a toll applies to both routes, however. If you’re departing, head to Floor 3 and drop off at the door closest to your airline. You can stop for up to five minutes before incurring a charge. There are plenty of parking options at both Terminals.

Car rentals
Several car rental agencies are located at Terminal 1 near Exit 14 and at Terminal 2 in the Transportation Center.
