Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1

The Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport is a major hub within Europe and services most major international airlines. With three expansive terminals, the size and layout creates the feel of an international destination with Parisian artworks permanently on exhibit, as well as art displays from the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles.

There are a limited selection of eateries in Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1, including light convenience meals like burgers, sandwiches, healthy fast food and some French cuisine, as well as a coffee shop and a bakery. You will located outlets before security, after security and some in the main terminal area.

The iconic French shopping on offer will not disappoint with stores including Hermès, La Maison du Chocolat and L'Occitane among the 20 outlets on offer. There are an additional 10 stores where you can shop for the duty-free essentials before you board your flight.

A Priority Pass membership would also allow you to gain access to a choice of luxury airport lounges at Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1.

About Our Lounges At Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1

We have two airport lounges waiting for you to enjoy in Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1.

The Star Alliance Lounge is a spacious and stylish area where you can enjoy refreshments and drinks - alcoholic if over 18 years of age. Open from 5:30am to 10pm daily, your Priority Pass card will give you access to the Business Lounge.The lounge has an outdoor terrace with a separate smoking area. Children under two years of age are admitted free but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The Icare Lounge is a practical and well-laid out space - whether you are looking for a spot of quiet and relaxation or needing to do some work, the lounge has many seating choices. WIth refreshments and a selection of drinks on offer - including alcoholic beverages - you can take your time to catch your breath before your flight. An outdoor terrace is available for those looking for some fresh air. Children under the age of three are admitted free.The lounge is open from 6am to 10pm daily but hours may vary depending on flight schedules.

Location And Accessibility

The Star Alliance Lounge is situated airside and can be found after going through passport control but before the security checkpoints on Level 11. Passengers travelling within Schengen countries are required to show a boarding pass with confirmed same day travel as well as a valid membership card (access remains subject to the discretion of the French Border Police).

The Icare lounge is airside, also after passport control but before security checkpoints in the international area on Level 10. Passengers travelling within Schengen countries are required to show a boarding pass with confirmed same day travel (access remains subject to the discretion of the French Border Police).


There's a café on the Arrivals level where you can get a snack and a drink before leaving the airport.

There's a Marks & Spencer food store, and you can pick up a newspaper or magazine at the newsstand.
