About São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport

Known locally as Cumbica Airport and GRU, São Paulo-Guarulhos Airport is Brazil’s busiest, as well as Latin America’s second busiest – after Mexico City International Airport. Home to three terminals, this bustling national transport hub hosts more than 30 million passengers a year. Most of the airport’s international flights leave from the new and ultra-modern Terminal 3, while most domestic flights leave from Terminal 2.

Positioned 750 metres above sea level and home to two runways – one of which is large enough to accommodate the giant Airbus A380 aircraft, São Paulo-Guarulhos Airport is home to a variety of lounges, restaurants and leisure facilities.
