Tokyo Narita International is Japan’s main international airport and has received awards for World’s Best Airport and Best Airport Dining Experience. The airport services most international carriers and is well known for its Japanese efficiency - with services like baggage carousels turning around in double time.

Dining outlets at the airport are found on the fourth and fifth floors, with the fifth floor having runway views. Eateries can be found both before and after passport control. You can enjoy true Japanese fare with dishes like soba and sushi at a selection of 15 Japanese eateries, as well as Chinese fare and traditional Western meals at the other restaurants and cafes.

The shopping on offer will not disappoint with more than 60 stores before passport control and another 30 stores plus duty-free outlets after passport control. From luxury items from Hermes to shoes, fashion accessories and souvenirs. You will need to plan for extra time in your schedule to take it all in!

A Priority Pass membership would also allow you to gain access to a luxury airport lounge at Tokyo Narita Terminal 1.

About Our Lounge At Tokyo Narita Terminal 1 .

The IASS Executive Lounge is a smaller lounge offering a place to enjoy a complimentary beverage while reading magazines as well as compact work tables for those needing to check emails, browse the internet or get some work done. The lounge is open from 7am to 9pm daily. Children under 12 years are admitted free and complimentary alcoholic drinks are limited to one per adult.

Location And Accessibility

The IASS Executive Lounge is found landside and is for domestic passengers only. Once on the Departures floor (third floor) take the escalator next to the ‘G’ check-in counter to the fourth floor and turn left. The lounge is at the end of the hall.


Refreshments can be picked up at the café before leaving the airport.

Duty-free shopping is available on arrival for international travelers only and is located before Customs. In the Arrivals Hall you'll find several minimarts and convenience stores where you can pick up everyday essentials. Local SIM cards are sold at around 5 outlets, or you can shop in true Japanese style and use the vending machine.

Terminal tips

he airport hosts a rich display of Japanese heritage with cultural activities held throughout the year - including Kokeshi (Japanese doll) making and manga drawing. Exhibitions by local artists are also displayed across both terminals, from ceramic murals, stained glass, folding screens and mosaic towers.

Airport regulations prevent smoking outside of designated smoking areas located conveniently across Narita Terminal 1. We invite our guests to avail these facilities.

You can access Priority Pass Narita Terminal 1 lounge up to three hours before departure.
