Terminal Information

Eating options at the Rafael Núñez International Terminal are extremely limited. There's a café and an ice cream parlor in the main hall, and after Security you'll find a restaurant serving local dishes. Opening times of restaurants and cafés correspond to first and last flights from the terminal.

Duty-free shopping is available after Security as well as a small range of other stores selling gifts and souvenirs. A jewelry outlet and a confectionery store can be found in the main hall of the terminal.

There's a café in international Arrivals, and a terrace above the Arrivals area that's home to 5 food stands.

You'll find a duty-free store in Arrivals where you can make last-minute purchases before going through Customs.

Terminal tips

Keep cash on you at the airport in case credit cards can't be taken.

USD will be accepted as well as Columbian Peso.

Cartagena is very humid, so dress in loose, light clothing for the airport as some travelers have reported inadequate air-conditioning at busy times.

Bring an outer layer in your hand luggage if you're sensitive to cooler temperatures once in flight.

Be prepared for a short, open-air walk to your plane as there are no skybridges at Rafael Núñez airport.
